1.Preliminary Selection: firstly, the students can volunteer for the application, and then the origin school the students belong to will organize an interview for primary selection in accordance with the above criteria and the quota provided by Honors School. The result of the preliminary selection will be sent to Honors School after being publicized.

2.Recommendation: The criteria can be liberalized for students who really have exceptional skills. The Dean of the origin school of the students or the invited advisors of Honors School can make real-name recommendations, and the recommended students will not occupy the quota of the origin School, however the number of recommended students shall not be over 1% of the total students in the grade.

3.Retest: Honors School will invite experts of Jiangnan University to conduct a retest which will disrupt the order of origin Schools and majors of the candidates. The retest will be carried out in groups.

4.Admission: Honors School will decide on the to-be-accepted candidates based on the retest result. The candidates will be submitted to the Administration Committee of Honors School for approval and publicizing, after which the final admission will be determined.
