Profile of Keynote Speaker:

  WANG Yunxia, professor of the Law School and doctoral supervisor, is the Deputy Director of the Law and Culture Centre of Renmin University. She is also the Director of Cultural Heritage Law Research Institute of the Law School, and the Standing Director of National Academy of Foreign Legal History Study. Her researches focus on the foreign legal history, comparative studies of laws, cultural heritage law and so on. Up till now, she has published several books and more than ten articles. She attended the International Symposium on Cultural Heritage Law in Auvergne University of France in September 2012, and the International Symposium on Fighting Against Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Relics in the University of Western Australia in August 2011. In July 2006, she made a keynote speech about “Returning of Cultural Heritage Robbed of in World War II” in the Jeju Summer Forum held by The Federation of Korean Industries. She was also invited to attend the Experts Conference on the Returning of Cultural Property Robbed of in World War II held by the UNESCO in May 2000.
