On June 21st, the graduation ceremony was held grandly by Honors School, Jiangnan University in Wenhao Building.

Xu Yan, Vice President of Jiangnan University, Jin Jian, Executive Deputy Dean of Honors School, Jiang Bo, Director of International Office and Professor Wang Wu, Distinguished Tutor of Honors School attended and witnessed the graduation ceremony, together with more than 20 tutor representatives and all the Honors School graduating students.

The opening ceremony started in the solemn national anthem of China. Vice President Xu Yan addressed Honors School graduating students and congratulated them on their gratifying achievements. He also expressed the expectations that they would take on the responsibilities bravely, love life deeply, ponder diligently and be the best of themselves with lofty aspirations and down-to-earth efforts. President Xu's speech was full of affection and earnestness winning the applause of the honor students

Then, Professor Jin Jian announced the winners of the 2018 special Honor Award. Chen Liuhong, Zhang Manqi, Feng Yushuang, Hu Bin and Lu Xia were awarded the highest honor. Professor Wang Wu and Professor Jin Jian presented the five winners with the gold medals of honor.

Subsequently, Professor Jiang Bo announced the award decision of the 2018 best Honor Students. In the witness of teachers and students, Professor Jiang Bo and Professor Jin Jian personally presented each of the best honorary students with medals of honor and certificates of honor. The atmosphere of the ceremony reached a climax.

It is reported that the graduating students have achieved fruitful results.141 of the 167 graduating students will go to universities at home and abroad for a postgraduate degree with 84% further study rate; 137 academic papers have been published publicly, among which 53 are three retrieval papers and 40 have applied for patents; 100% of them have participated in university exchanges at home or abroad.
